Oliver Henzler

Oliver’s professional practice as an actor, producer, and Synapsing® trainer fires his interest in learning psychology and creative development and led to the founding of McoreM. He is passionate about organic learning and its potential for professional and organizational development. Oliver aims to create a learning experience that is fun and instills the courage to go beyond the known.

Oliver’s professional history reflects his resourceful skill base. As an actor, he has performed at the acclaimed American Repertory Theater in Boston and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. His entrepreneur spirit led to co-founding the New York based theater company Turtle Back Theater, where he has produced theater productions with artistic director Javier H. Gutierrez (Bogota, Colombia). He is the co-producer of short films that have aired at US film festivals and on British television; collaborating directors include D.W.Young (USA) and Ellen-Alinda Verhoeff (Netherlands).

Footprints

Born and raised in Germany, Oliver moved to America at age 19. He attended Wesleyan University, Connecticut (BA in Theater & Political Science). Further studies took him to Los Angeles where he trained with master acting coach Eric Morris and worked with theater innovator Robert Wilson. He completed his graduate work at Columbia University, NY (MFA in Acting). Oliver is a certified Synapsing® trainer and a guild certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®. The University of Life offers him the rewarding roles of husband and father.
