Leah is a singer-songwriter, actress, Yoga instructor and Synapsing® trainer. In her capacity as artist, music producer and teacher, she has become increasingly committed to the power of collaborative creativity. While studying to be a Synapsing trainer Leah was particularly drawn to the rich parallels between music making, brain activity and heightened intelligence. Her passion for the musicality of human intelligence together with her solid practical background support McoreM’s training programs.
Leah has written and produced two music albums - Folk by Foulke,Vol.I (2003) and Everywhere to Go, Folk by Foulke,Vol.II (2008). She has collaborated with many singer/songwriters and performed at multiple venues in New York. As an actress, Leah has performed at New York’s Off Broadway Cherry Lane Theater and on ABC’s All My Children. As a teaching artist she has worked for the award winning Whirlwind Performance Company in Chicago, Illinois, and prestigious New York schools Brearley, Chapin, and Convent of the Sacred Heart.
Leah was born in New York City and grew up in Greenwich, CT and Westchester County, New York. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama from Colorado College in Colorado Springs. She completed her Master of Fine Arts in acting at Columbia University’s School of the Arts. Leah is a certified Yoga and pre-natal Yoga instructor (Yoga Works, New York) and Synapsing® trainer. She lives in New York with her husband and two children.
