The Feldenkrais Method®

The Feldenkrais Method has a profound effect on one's ability to act with precision, power, and spontaneity. It is based on the conviction that the flexibility of mind and body are inseparable. Developed by Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais (1904–1984), a distinguished physicist, engineer, martial artist, educator, and researcher, this method is a somatic approach to human learning and change.

Actors, musicians and dancers have long used the Feldenkrais Method to increase their stage presence, strengthen their voice, reduce anxiety levels and heighten their availability for spontaneous creativity. It has proved highly successful in supporting the performance of sports professionals increasing both physical and mental levels of energy and endurance.

Awareness Through Movement

“Each of us speaks, moves, thinks and feels in a different way, each according to the image of themselves that they have built up over the years. In order to change our mode of action, we must change the image of ourselves that we carry within us. […] As we become aware of what we are doing, and not what we say or think we are doing, the way to improvement is wide open to us.”
